Social Awareness Center SAC Nepal, Birendranagar, Surkhet is a non-governmental organization working in Surkhet and Dailekh District in different theme. We are working with women, children and adolescents (Youths) for their qualitative life through different projects. Now SAC is implementing different 8 projects in Surkhet and Dailekh district partnership with different development partners. With this connection SAC is implementing SAMVAD and SEEDS Program in partnership with Stromme Foundation. These programs are implementing in different rural/municipalities of Surkhet district. In this situation we have vacant an Admin and Finance Officer (AFO) position under this program. So SAC is looking for highly competent and eligible Nepalese citizens for the following position to be based in Surkhet.

The AFO will be responsible to work closely with the Executive Director and Program Coordinator (PC) to ensure quality implementation of targeted interventions, effective and efficiencies financial reporting with recording, effectively perform the admin and operation part of program, applied GON, Organization and partners rules and regulations.
Major Responsibilities
- Manage day to day financial, admin and operational transaction of program.
- Support PC to prepare annual budget plan, budget revision, budget calendar and implementation plan.
- Work closely with ED/PC/PO and other concern staff to ensure smooth implementation of activities under programs.
- Strictly meet deadlines and submit partners monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial reporting.
- Ensure and timely inform to PC about burn rate of budget and support in implementation of the program as per planned and budget calendar.
- Conduct and support to internal and external audit.
- Prepare management response for internal and external audit; and strictly implement the recommendation provided by the auditors and SF.
- Tax and other amount MUST be deposit in time in concern government office.
- Operate TALLY software in proper way.
- Competent in using computer software package e.g. : word, excel, power-point, email, internet and others.
- Competent in both English and Nepali language in writing and speaking.
- Able and willing to work in pressure and flexible on time. Ability to work independently.
- Candidate MUST have learning attitude and work in a team.
- Leadership, facilitation and team building skills will be needed.
- Any other responsibility as assigned by organization and program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Study (BBS) or Bachelor Degree in Management specialized in accounts or finance from authorized University. If the qualification is from abroad must be submitted equivalent documents from authorized agencies of Nepal.
- Having a minimum one year experience in administration, finance and operation in likeminded NGOs.
Selection process:
- Selection process will be followed as per organization’s rules and regulations.
- Document review (CV, academic certificates, experience letter, training certificates and related other documents), short-list, Written test, Computer/practical test and interview.
Age: 18 to 45 years
